Japan v.s. Korea Nike Ad

Saw this in late August in Shinjuku Station.

Japan v.s. Korea Nike ad for The Human Race Worldwide 10k Run

Japan v.s. Korea Nike ad for The Human Race Worldwide 10k Run

Japan is represented by Natto.  Korea by Kimchi.  I really liked this ad.
It says “Let it be settled by running”

  1. Do you like Nattou and / or Kimuchi?

I like both…especially together over rice! キムチ納豆ご飯! One of my favorites for lunch.

  2. Yeah, i have tried the kimchi natto combo over rice. lots of flavour!

  3. it is called Kimchi..not “kimuchi.”

  4. >not “kimuchi.”

I wrote it that way because in Japanese it’s spelled 「キムチ」…”ki-mu-chi”.
(Some people spell it “kimchee”) ;)

  5. 納豆!

i think Kimchi is better for me…

  7. wonguys, thanks for the comment.

  8. its good that nike is confirming kimchi as a korean dish, given that fact that japan is trying hard to cheat people that kimchi is a japanese dish.
