Unagi Pie うなぎパイ
Coming back from meetings with a client on Friday morning, I came back to my desk on Friday afternoon to find this Unagi Pie on my desk. うなぎ or Unagi is in fact eel.
Eel Pie
Usually, when someone in the office goes on a trip out of town, they bring back something from that local area in Japan for the rest of us in the office. It is a sort of unwritten obligation of working in an office in Japan.
WTF?!
They make an eel pastry? Not exactly.
Well, the reviews are in and its delicious. Tastes like a sweet and tarty pastry with just the right crispyness.
