In an announcement earlier today, beverage giants, Asahi and Kagome will be collaborating to make a sports vegetable drink.

Sports + Vegetable = Spo-Vege

The drink is to go on sale April 7th, 2009 and the 500ml size will retail for 140 Yen (w/o tax).

I bet this is off the shelves before June. Sorry Japan, you just never seem to keep these crazy drinks around.

I’m not a fan of vegetable drinks to begin with… don’t think a sport-version will change any of that.
